Welcome to Peak Efficiency
Peak Efficiency is a local independent company specialising in providing Energy Performance
Certificates (EPCs) for domestic properties
Based near Marlborough, we provide EPCs to landlords and home sellers.
We can also offer advice on improving your home's efficiency and reducing your heating
costs. We cover Wiltshire, including Swindon, West Berks and South Oxfordshire.
Our EPCs are provided to you with minimal fuss and the survey is carried out at
your convenience.
We talk to you person to person and take
a minimum amount of details over the phone. You can then leave it to us to get
on with the job.
The EPC must be ordered before marketing can begin, but does not delay marketing because it need not be produced for 28 days.Obviously we will always endeavour to produce the EPC within a few days of the order being placed.
Your energy survey will be carried out by a fully qualified Energy Assessor, trained
and accredited by Elmhurst Energy Systems Ltd. Our EPCs are lodged with Elmhurst
who also monitor our work to maintain the highest professional standards.
Are you a landlord?
From 1st October 2008 all rented properties have required an EPC if they
are to be marketed. It is the legal right of the prospective tenant to be shown
a copy of the EPC, so that he/she can get an idea of the cost of heating the property.

Grants
There are often grants available for making improvements to the energy efficiency
of a property. The Energy Savings Trust is a good source of information.
